Project

Background
Medical students and health care professionals are exposed to many stress factors in their work and often suffer from exhaustion, burnout and depression. Fortunately, there are good methods to protect them and strenghten their personal resilience.

Our aim
With this project we aim to provide advice for lifestyle change and to enhance healing resources to improve mental and physical health. The advice is based on the concepts of Mind Body Medicine and inlcudes the following aspects:

  • Relaxation
  • Exercise
  • Nutrition
  • Positive Psychology
  • Healthy Living

Our concept
This website embraces the idea that 'less can be more' when it comes to implementation of healthy lifestyle aspects into daily life. Following this approach, the website is structured into five main topics, which have a maximum of five subtopics each. Within each subtopic we provide:

  • What you should know
  • Real life implementation
  • Exercises

Our advice is based on scientific evidence and we provide links to the references in the PubMed database.
